Dear Future Client,
The first month of 2024 has passed by rapidly, which may be an indication of the fast pace at which companies would need to operate for the coming year.
Moving into February, we look forward to a month that is dedicated to important relationships in one’s life. From a Diesel Bro’s perspective, it is our valued clients, trustworthy suppliers, and dedicated and specialist team members that allows us to do what we are so passionate about: supplying premium fuel solutions to South Africa.
February is also a special month, as 2024 is a leap year. While many people may enjoy having an extra day on the 29th of February, the history behind this day is very interesting and of consequence.
The Earth takes 365.2421 days to orbit around the sun. To ensure that the modern calendar syncs to astronomical year, the negligible difference over the decades results in a quarter of a day every year. Consequently, leap day makes up for this 24-hour difference every 4 years.
Why I highlight this that, in the industries we service, time is of the essence. When it comes to logistics, a slight delay early on in the supply chain can have a bottleneck effect and result in late deliveries, production issues, and unhappy customers. The same rings true for all the other sectors, such as mining, construction, manufacturing, and agriculture – all pivotal players in the South African economy.
Because we understand this at Diesel Bro’s, we pride ourselves on our swift delivery times for both bulk and bowser deliveries, in order to ensure that you can run your business as efficiently as possible. Remember, the Diesel Bro’s team has a problem-solving mindset and to not only provide swift fuel deliveries, but quick solutions to any unforeseen challenges that our clients may face.
Happy Leap Day!
From your fuel partner
CEO/Founder,
Ryan Louw
